Welcome, fellow otaku’s, to How Anime Stuff Works!

We have something fun and a little different today, I am behind on some tag posts and still working on two others, which I will have up soon but I have had the time today to work on this one, I couldn’t pass up on Pinkie’s Kore Wa Watashi Blog Award at all! I was nominated by the wonderful Kiritonarukami (If you haven’t checked their blog out I highly recommend that you do).

Before we dive into this, I want to say a huge THANKYOU to Pinkie for creating this tag!! I am so excited to be a part of it!!!!

The Questions!

Describe a hobby or passion you have through an anime series! For example Shokugeki no Soma if you like cooking or Initial D if you like cars.

Uryu Ishida – Bleach

There’s quite a few hobbies that I’m into and Cross Stitching one of them, sadly there isn’t any anime that focuses on stitching or sewing and not many images of characters sewing or cross stitching besides Uryu Ishida dramatically sewing a teddy bear in Bleach. I got into cross stitching from a very early age after watching my mum push out some lovely projects over the years. It really is my go to hobby for when I need to escape from life, it helped me through some really tough times in the past. The one thing I love about cross stitch is how complicated and challenging it can get, it always pushes me to challenge myself through a hobby that I love so much and the end results can be amazing.

Simplify yourself to an Anime Archetype (Tsundere, Dojiko, Shota, Shounen-Protagonist etc)  don’t overthink what an archetype is, go with your gut. Name a character that is also that Archetype.

This is an interesting question….I’m more like a Bokukko, Genki, Tsundere and Dojikko, it’s like someone added those into a mixing bowl and stirred the ingredients together. I’m a right tomboy that has a alot of energy and is also somewhat clumsy that cares about others. With that in mind I think these characters match the best:

Makoto Kino – Sailor Jupiter – Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon

It’s embarrassing to say but there’s one character that looks exactly like me and well….she’s a sex addict! Luckily I’m not haha! Though atm my hair is alot longer then that due to the lockdown going on.

Hana Midorikawa – Prison School

Describe your romantic bias and or sexuality through anime characters you find attractive.

THERE’S SO MANY CHARACTERS TO CHOOSE!! I tend to go for guys that have a chill, relaxed personality to balance out my energetic personality. I also tend to like guys that have a maturity to them. With that said I would go for these two.

Levi Ackerman – Shingeki no Kyojin

Tell us about your day to day life and what anime that would fit into! You can be creative here!

Well my life would be so much cooler pre-pandemic, but I see what I can do, If you didn’t know already I actually work in a pub, at the moment I just serve the meals and clean the tables, I would be working behind the bar. serving alcoholic drinks but my on the floor training hasn’t been completed yet, due to the pandemic I’m not allowed to ghost my manager who would be showing me how to pour the drinks and create the cocktails etc, so I’m more of a waitress then anything at the moment.

Utako Sakura – HINAMATSURI

This will be me one day, serving customers their drinks and creating some awesome cocktails! At the moment I’m just being paid to sit on my butt at home being bored and moaning about it! Hahaha!

Doma Umaru – Himouto! Umaru-chan

Annnd in my spare time I just be the geek that I am! I read, write (that includes fanfiction), cross stitch, play games and dive into anime, similar to Umaru really, minus the cross stitching. I also love to be a blogger that gets to know more and more about anime.

Describe your hopes and dreams through an anime character.

Relena Peacecraft – Mobile Suit Gundam Wing

I tend to take Relena’s stance on things, I would love for a world that would be at peace with no wars (and no viruses) where people can live in peace. I would love to see everyone spread love and not hate, accept each other for the way they are and not bully or belittle one another. I know it’s something unreal but that’s what would dream of happening. Realistically though my dream is to not have to suffer a daily battle with my anxiety, to one day be able to get through day to day activities without a single worry or evil thought going through my head. Anyway enough from me, let’s get on with the nominations!
