Am I That Powerful? The Powerful Female Tag!

I always wanted to do something to show some love to all the powerful women out there (real or fictional), so when Pinkie of Pinkie’s Paradise tagged me to do the powerful women tag I was more then happy to jump on board and show some love to all the powerful women that we know of, I mean what better way to do it then writing about them!! Of course I want to make this more fun so I’m going to do a combination of fictional characters! 🙂

Name a female known for her intelligence.

Ami Mizuno – Sailor Mercury – Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon.

Being a pretty shy individual Ami struggled to make friends easily, she always spent time alone and preferred to study and read, because of this everyone seemed to develop a negative opinion of her, thinking that because she was the top of her class most of the time and very intelligent, she was a snobby and arrogant person, this is completely the opposite of who she actually is, Ami is by far a very gentle and caring person that will always help those she is closest too. Her intelligence and her handiwork with computers makes Ami the brains of the Sailor Senshi, which is something she prefers to do.

Ami is one of my favorite characters due to how intelligent, gentle, and strong she is, she’s one of many kindhearted characters that I know and I think that she will set a great example for the young girls out there!

Hermione Granger – Harry Potter.

From the Harry Potter series, Hermione Granger is pretty much as smart as Ami Mizuno, always coming top of her class and is pretty much a bookworm. Born to muggle parents Hermione is the only witch in her family and was accepted into Hogwarts at the age of 11, but she took studying magic pretty seriously and even learnt a few spells way before attending Hogwarts, She possessed a brilliant academic mind and proved to be a gifted student in almost every subject that she studied.

This always gave her an advantage in battle with her enemies, Hermione always knew some advanced spells that Harry and Ron seemed to struggle with. Hermione is also a very kind and caring towards all her friends and family and really inherits a strong will and strength when it comes to protecting them.

Name a female known for her physical strength.

Videl – DragonBall Z.

I think all the ladies in DragonBall are pretty awesome, all of them being amazing tacticians and showing incredible strength, Videl is one of them, I literally fell in love with her and find that she is an incredible supporting character. Her physical strength is amazing even though she isn’t as strong as Gohan, she sure does put up a fight against any enemy to the best of her abilities. Videl can be stubborn and feisty but she is also caring and motherly to everyone around her, combined with her physical strength and determination she makes one heck of a character in the anime universe.

Katara – Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Katara is another character that shows great physical strength through her water bending, Born to the chief of the Southern Water Tribe, Katara is the only water bender in her tribe, but shows determination to broaden her water bending skills by going to the Nothern Water Tribe to look for a tutor with Aang. She’s also a great tactician in battle and quickly makes decisions, Katara shows us just how strong she can be throughout Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Name a female who powered through difficult times.

Hitomi Kanzaki – The Vision of Escaflowne.

I just adore Hitomi so so much, she really has managed to get through a tough time and really stayed somewhat calm throughout it all. Hitomi is quite an anxious person so being transported from her home and ending up in an entirely different place and being tossed into a war and not outwardly panicking about it, is something that amazes me about her, (truthfully I would literally panic completely if I was in her position,) but Hitomi manages to adapt and take in what is going on around her and stay so strong all throughout it all.

Elena Gilbert, Bonnie Bennett and Caroline Forbes – The Vampire Diaries.

Yep, I just had to add these three ladies from Vampire Diaries! Elena, Bonnie and Caroline all went through alot throughout the show, from being turned into vampires, losing loved ones and even being the target for the villains’, and even though they all went through that they all came out stronger then they ever were and alot wiser. Some points in the show just had be bawling my eyes out so much for them, to me these ladies so deserve to be on this list!

Name a female who you want to be friends/roommates with/Name A female who you think is a good role model.

Oh boy, this one is so hard as I would love have everyone I mentioned as a friend! (；・∀ ・) But I have to choose one and someone else needs a mention, as a roommate I would love to have Belldandy from Ah! My Goddess! I thought that she would also be the answer to the second question – Name A female who you think is a good role model – as in a way Belldandy is a great role model that I look upto alot!

She’s pretty, kind, polite, caring, intelligent, calm, and brave, Belldandy is just a character that I love so much in so many ways, she just draws people to her without even trying. I think she would be a good roommate and a great friend, with her living with Keiichi Morisato and her two sisters, Urd and Skuld, it would make her the perfect clean and independent roommate that I so love to have, I would learn alot from Belldandy and she would really inspire me to be the best I can be!

Luna Lovegood – Harry Potter.

Luna Lovegood is another character that I would love to have as a roommate and be friends with, she’s witty and weird but also pretty smart! Luna was teased by other students and was called Loony Lovegood due to her strange behavior and odd beliefs, but even though she went through that, she came out alot stronger. I always loved Luna’s personality and find her beliefs interesting, she’s pretty calm even in tough situations.

Name a female who deserves the spotlight.

I am going to pinch something from Pinkie for this and say that you are very strong no matter what the world throws at you, no matter how times get tough for you o r how life can be pretty shit! You are strong and have an inner strength that helps you fight through everything!! You are amazing and beautiful!!!

Powerful Female Bloggers

This one is optional this time but I wanted to drop some powerful female bloggers myself!

Art Of Anime is an amazing blogger, she really inspires me to keep doing what I am doing and just like me, she does deal with alot but never lets anything stop her, she is one of the powerful women that I know!

Nabe is another powerful female blogger that inspires me, Nabe is one of the first anime blogs that I discovered that inspired me to start my own. Her blogging is really in depth and gets right down to the nitty gritty details and she’s not afraid to blog about anything that she wants!!

Of course there is my pink buddie Pinkie!! I have tagged Pinkie even though she already did this tag and is the one that got me to do this but I wanted to throw her blog out there as just like Nabe, Pinkie really inspired me to just throw caution to the wind and create a blog (or two) that suits me best and shows who I am, Pinkie always will be my senpai in a way, I learn to be a blogger from her and her blogging, she is so confident and always seems to speak her mind!!!
