Hello fellow otaku’s!!!
It’s been quite awhile since I even did a post to this challenge. Quite embarrassing!! For those of you who are new to my blog 100 Days of Anime is a huge challenge where I post an answer to a question for 100 days (for me it will be 94 days, hahaha!) but the questions are anime based, I started this back in June last year and stopped suddenly as I had quite alot on my plate at the time. I thought why not finally jump back on board with this and resume where I left off, Anyway lets jump back on board and have some fun!!

Day [7] – Name your anime crush.
Well truthfully I do have alot of anime characters that I love and adore but I don’t have a crush on any of them, I will say that I’m more interested in learning more about the characters I mention, like I have a big interest in them more then having a crush on them.
Mamoru Chiba – Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal.
I literally adore Mamoru Chiba from Sailor Moon Crystal, I hated the way the original 90’S anime depicted him so much, compared to the way he is in the manga, and I think Crystal did him alot of justice with fleshing out his character alot more. Mamoru is quite a strong and independent person that truly cares about the people closest to him. As Tuxedo Kamen he is able to protect them even more and is just as powerful as Sailor Moon/Usagi Tsukino herself.
Where in the 90’s anime adaption to Sailor Moon made me hate him alot, Crystal really brought back my love for this character so much and even more so after reading the manga to Sailor Moon for the first time. I love how at first he’s just a bit of a mystery but then becomes alot more throughout the series, Mamoru’s backstory is also quite touching, from being the Prince of Earth and losing his life, to being reborn in the present, losing his parents and ending up with amnesia because of that is quite a tough life to live, but it’s because of this that makes him so interesting. Will he get his memories back? Who knows!
I could go on and on about Mamoru Chiba but I don’t want to spoil Sailor Moon for anyone new to the series, so will leave it here. It’s quite hard to talk about a character without spoiling the anime or manga for everyone!
